Today we lay to rest one of the finest people ever....a "Coviello cousin", devoted and loving husband, dad, grandfather, friend....someone who always had a smile and a good word....a big, lovable teddy bear of a man, someone who enjoyed a good joke and a great party....someone whom we were proud to call cousin and friend. Today's well-attended service was a testament to the type of person Richard was....beloved, smart, funny, wise. Our cousins' gatherings will never be the same again (and neither will Chapin's!!), but we will always rejoice in having had him in our lives....we are so fortunate. RIP, big guy. You are missed. Sending my condolences. I have fond memories of visiting your home for vacation with my father and mother, Thomas and Valerie. The last year it was an Easter weekend thirty years ago but I still think about it. Thanks for your time and hospitality. Sorry for your loss, Elaine. I remember him as a jolly good fellow.
