Obituary of Rosemary A. Rotzal

Rosemary A. Rotzal, age 72, longtime resident of Trumbull, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born on April 15, 1944 in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Helen M. Mainero Heiden. A certified EMT, Rosemary was a founding member of the Trumbull EMS and an active member of the Long Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. After working more than forty dedicated years, Rosemary retired as Payroll Coordinator for the Town of Trumbull. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her. Rosemary is survived by her loving children, Deanna Bogen and husband Doug, and their children Shaun and Ryan of Trumbull, a son, Richard Rotzal of Trumbull, a sister, Elena Heiden of Winchester, NH, a brother, Paul Heiden and his wife Lois of Trumbull, and two nephews, David and Timothy. She is also survived by her extended family Dave and Donna Bogen and their children Joanne and Sarah as well as many special friends, especially Shelly Ralston and Dave Giannini. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull.
