Obituary of Aldo Orrico

Aldo Orrico, age 71, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Donna L. Griswold Orrico, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born on August 9, 1953, in Rose, Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Eugenio and Carmella Iuele Orrico. At a young age, Aldo came to the United States with his family and settled in Cos Cob, before later residing in Stamford. He would eventually move with his family to Trumbull, where he spent the last 32 years. An Engineer by trade, he was currently employed by ASML and was previously employed by Pitney Bowes. He was cherished by his co-workers and always enjoyed a good laugh in their company. Aldo loved taking trips to the casino with his wife Donna, watching the most random horror movie you've never heard of, and dining out with friends and family. He always looked sharp and was dressed to impress…or as he would call it, stylin' and profilin'. But above all, he was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He treasured time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He would always tell them, "If you want something, just ask Poppy". They will miss him dearly. Survivors include two loving children, Rebecca Orrico (Kim Abbott) and Timothy Orrico (Denise), three cherished grandchildren, Mia, Charlie & Owen Orrico, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
