Obituary of Jacqueline F. Turner

Jacqueline F. (Berry) Turner, age 78, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2026 with her loving family at her side. She was the devoted wife of 57 years to the late Brian R. Turner. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred (Quick) Berry and was a longtime resident of Milford.

Before her retirement, Jacqueline was a tool designer at T/C Engineering, a business started by her husband. She balanced working alongside Brian with being a loving, nurturing, supportive and wonderful mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and welcomed everyone to her table. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her two loving children, Karen Wentz (Sean) and Brian Turner II (Jessica), four cherished grandchildren, Daniel Izzo (Gina), and Drew Izzo and Kayleigh and Liam Turner. Also survived by siblings, Edward Berry (Fran), Patricia Violano (Dominick), Joanne Yates, Cheryl Barber (Larry), Denise Dean, Paulette Macrae and Doreen Berry plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Berry and Miles Coen, sisters, Geraldine (Cartiglia) Gemza and Audrey Hartman and brothers-in-law, Robert Cartiglia, Edward Gemza, Jeffrey Hartman and Richard Dean.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, August 24th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
