Obituary of Ann M. Hansen

Ann M. (Scott) Hansen, age 93, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Daniel Allan Hansen, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2026 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 28, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Ruth P. (Krummel) Scott and was a Trumbull resident for 70 years. Along with her husband, they were life members of the Nichols United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her loving children, four sons, Daniel S. Hansen and his husband, David Rau of Chester, Carl T. Hansen and his wife, Theojo of Trumbull, Robert A. Hansen and his wife, Elvira of Huntington and Steven R. Hansen and his wife Julie Solz of Amherst, NH; two daughters, Karen A. Leslie and her husband, Brian of Arnside, UK and Christine R. Hansen of Trumbull; eleven grandchildren, Jane Wadsworth and her husband Graham of Sedgwick, UK, Ian Leslie and his wife Chrisi of Wetherby, UK, Trevor Hansen and his fiancée Dr. Tracy O’Brien of Easton, Gunnar Hansen and his wife Meghan of Middletown, Sean Hansen and his wife Asia of Ansonia, Zachary Hansen and his wife Katherine of Ansonia, Wesley Hansen and his wife Candace of Ansonia, Vanessa Miller and her husband Ethan of Hampstead, NC, Dana Hansen and his wife Melanie of Natick, MA, Derek Ruiz and his wife Kayla of North Kingstown, RI, and Marc Ruiz of Manhattan, KS; fifteen great-grandchildren, Hannah Wadsworth, Isaac Wadsworth, Freya Hansen, Benjamin Hansen, Lydia Hansen, Sophie Hansen, Cody Hansen, Spencer Hansen, Leo Hansen, Celine Miller, Rylie Hansen, River Ruiz, Rose Ruiz, James Leslie and Annie Leslie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. meeting DIRECTLY in Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday August 28, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
