Obituary of Josephine M. Milas
Josephine M. Desien Milas, age 79, of Sandy Hook and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in Danbury Hospital. Born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania on February 9, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine Ciance Desien and the widow of Bernard A. Milas. Mrs. Milas was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister and was very devoted to her family. She will be sadly missed by all those that knew her.
Survivors include her beloved children, Gary Louis Milas and his wife, Gloria of Sandy Hook and Cathy Anne Brennan and her husband, James of Newtown, two loving sisters, Antoinette Bruno and her husband, Nicholas of Fairfield and Mary Tavella of Trumbull, five cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Tamra, Michael, Sarah and Joshua and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
