Obituary of Katherine Oliva

Katherine Kitty L. Barra Oliva, age 79, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Pasquale J. Oliva, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on May 9, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Chessa Barra. Mrs. Oliva was a longtime parishioner and active member of Holy Rosary Church. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her three loving children, Anna Marie Leshenski and her husband David, Angelo Oliva and his wife Linda and Theresa Webster and her husband Stephen, two cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Nicole Webster, a brother, Samuel Barra as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by sisters, Gloria Barra and Frances Philipps. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
