Obituary of Mary R. Orsini

Mary R. Orsini, age 99, of Stratford, passed away on Saturday September 28, 2013 at Lord Chamberlain in Stratford, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Chris Orsini. Born in Bridgeport on September 24, 1914 she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Regina Adriani Marchetti. Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking for her family but found her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Jerry Orsini and his wife Sharon of Shelton, four grandchildren, Kimberley Cody and her husband James, Bonnie Boyle and her husband Tim, Kristy Lechtenberg and her husband Adam and Jennifer Balogh and her husband Nate, eight great grandchildren, Michael Cody, Brett Cody, Kyle Boyle, Kaleigh Boyle, Griffin Boyle, Jake Balogh, Drew Balogh and Allie Balogh and a sister, Nancy DeRosa of Stratford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Chris, she was predeceased by four brothers Italo, Peter, Frank and Albert Marchetti and a sister, Ester Paola. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff of Lord Chamberlain for the care given to Mary during her time of need. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 10:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends can greet the family on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
