Obituary of Rene Saverio Ossie

U. S. Army Veteran Rene Saverio (Capotorto) Ossie, age 68, of Ansonia, a retired supervisor for Schick Razor, died on Sunday, November 25, 2007 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Italy on February 21, 1939, he was a son of the late Antonio and Costanza DeMasi Capotorto. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport before moving to Ansonia three years ago. Survivors include his wife Rosemarie Gillotti Ossie, two daughters, Renee CoFrancesco and her husband Albert and Carol Ossie, a son, Anthony Ossie and Dawn Willets, three sisters, Anna Liscio of Easton, Dora Santagelli of Italy and Teresa Darcangelo of Brookfield, a brother, Anthony Capotorto of Monroeville, PA, three grandsons, Albert and Christopher CoFrancesco and Nathan Ossie, his mother-in-law, Antoinette (Campoli) Gillotti and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother, Mario Capotorto and his father-in-law Anthony Gillotti. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with military honors will follow in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
