Obituary of Barbara Pacific

Resident of Bridgeport Barbara Gentile Pacific, age 59, of Bridgeport, a secretary for the City of Bridgeport Board of Education at Hall School and formerly Garfield School, died suddenly on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at her residence. Born in Bridgeport on January 3, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Careddu Gentile. She was a member of the St. Theresa Guild at Holy Rosary Church and served on the Festival Committee for the Feast of St. Anthony. She was also a former member of the Bridgeport Democratic Town Committee. Survivors include a son Gregory D. Pacific and his wife Katrina of Bridgeport, a brother Attorney Bryon Gentile and his wife Mary Ann of Stratford, a granddaughter, Nicoletta, nieces and nephews, John Pavlik, Lisa Beazoglou, Dr. Bryon A. Gentile II, Anthony Gentile and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
