Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Palma
Mary Elizabeth Palma, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Anacleto Palma died on Friday, March 4, 2011 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 20, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary Libre Richadone. Mrs. Palma spent most of her life in Yonkers, NY before moving to Trumbull 15 years ago. A great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family, she enjoyed cooking and had a great sense of humor. Survivors include her beloved children, Katherine Rubano and her husband Ronald of Trumbull, and Anthony Palma of Florida, a sister, Rose Simonetti of New York, two loving grandchildren, Tara Rubano and her husband Justin Shay, and Stephanie Schimenti and her husband Michael, three cherished great-grandchildren, Michael and Cecilia Schimenti, and Astrid Shay, as well as many nieces, nephews and good family friends, the Oleyars. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Maefair Health Care Center. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St. Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers NY at 2:30 pm. There will be no calling hours. Donations Information
