Obituary of Immaculate C. Palumbo

Resident of Bridgeport Immaculate C. LaRosa Palumbo, age 81, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Edmund R. Palumbo Sr., died peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at her home. Born on December 8, 1929 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Virginia Rico LaRosa. Mrs. Palumbo was a retired employee of Fairfield County Construction, a member of the Columbiettes Park City Council #16 and the St. Raphaels Altar Guild. She was pre-deceased by a son, Nicholas Palumbo. Survivors include a daughter, Immaculate Marcouillier and her husband, Richard of Bridgeport, a son, Edmund Palumbo Jr., and his wife Esmeralda of Texas, ten grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, a brother John LaRosa of Milford and several nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
