Obituary of Emanuel P. Piazza

Retired Co-Owner of Frank's Cleaners Emanuel Paul Piazza, age 90, of Trumbull, retired co-owner and operator of Franks Cleaners, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 in Maefair Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 20, 1917, he was a son of the late Guiseppe and Antonia Franzino Piazza and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Trumbull and was a member of the Trumbull Republican Town Committee. He also was a member of the Exchange Club of Trumbull, the Knights of Columbus, St. Theresa Council where he was a fourth degree knight and was a lifetime member of the Fayerweather Yacht Club. He was pre-deceased by his wife Evelyn Minnott Piazza, three brothers, Frank, John and Anthony F. Piazza and a sister, Rose Burruano. Survivors include two sisters, Frances DeBiase of Ansonia and Jean Masiello and her husband Donald of Wesport, several cousins as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
