Obituary of Barbara Principi

Former Resident of Monroe Barbara Horvath Principi, age 70, of Monroe, a homemaker, died on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on November 11, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Draskovich Horvath. Mrs. Principi enjoyed operating the concession stand for the Monroe Little League and she also operated Club 25 for Monroe Pop Warner. She also enjoyed her crossword puzzles and soap operas. Survivors include her beloved husband of 46 years, Francis Principi Sr., a daughter, Debbie Principi both of Monroe and a son, Francis Principi Jr. and his wife Margaret of Shelton, a sister, Marion Horvath of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 7:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 8:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
