Obituary of Theresa M. Puffen

Theresa M. Gayda Puffen, age 60, of Beacon Falls, a retired supervisor for Laidlaw/Datco Bus Co., died on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Virginia Buckson Gayda.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, retired Bridgeport Police Officer, Edward Puffen, Sr., two sons, Edward Puffen, Jr. of New Hampshire and Christopher Puffen of Waterbury, four daughters, Dawn Brown and her husband, Fred of Beacon Falls, Joann Bonta and her husband, Gary of Vermont, Michelle Eaton and her husband, Dale of Danbury and Shelley Puffen of Bridgeport, a sister, Mildred Daymonde of Bridgeport, 15 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Shirley Batterton, Kay Schulda and Virginia Walley. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
