Obituary of Marjorie R. Purdie

Marjorie R. Purdie, age 82, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Robert Purdie Jr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Maefair Health Care. Born in Fairfield on April 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Eva Marie Oliver Johnson. She was a retired employee of Flents Manufacturing. Marjorie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Purdie III and two brothers, Robert and Frederick Johnson. Survivors include two sons, Scott Purdie and his wife Theresa of Bridgeport and Keith Purdie of Trumbull, four cherished grandchildren, Amanda Purdie, Scott Purdie Jr., Keith Purdie Jr., and Megan Lewin and her husband Josh, three adored great grandchildren, Matthew, Haley and Blake. She also leaves two brothers, Don and Ralph Johnson and two sisters, Ellen Roy and Elizabeth Miller, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information All funeral services will be private.
