Obituary of Michael A. Renzulli

Former Trumbull Resident Michael A. Renzulli passed into Gods hands on Friday, December 29, 2006, in Palm City, Florida. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Mr. Renzulli was a long-time resident of Trumbull, prior to moving to Florida in 2004. He was the son of the late Carmine and Plautilla Mazzabufi Renzulli. A selfless and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Renzulli had a great love for his family and was surrounded by them during the course of his protracted illness. Mr. Renzulli proudly served his country, volunteering his enlistment in the United States Navy during a critical period in the nations history. He was stationed on the Island of Guam while serving his country during World War II. Upon his return from the war, he attended the University of Connecticut and received a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He spent the majority of his career at United Technologies Corporations, Sikorsky Aircraft Division in Stratford for 39 years. A Trumbull resident since 1958, Mr. Renzulli and his devoted wife Rose relocated to South Florida in 2004, residing with their son Michael, daughter-in-law Irene, and granddaughter Erica. Mr. Renzulli loved his home and dedicated countless hours to his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. He loved gardening and bonding with his treasured pets. Survivors include: his beloved wife of 55 years, Rose Melchionda Renzulli of Palm City, Florida; daughter, Darlene Renzulli Levine and husband Roy of Whippany, New Jersey; son, Carmine Renzulli and wife Brenda of Morgan Hill, California; son, Michael R. Renzulli and wife Irene of Palm City, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Levine Stockbridge of Hopedale, Massachusetts; Michael and David Levine of Whippany, New Jersey; Christopher, Craig, and Jeffrey Renzulli of Morgan Hill, California; and Erica Renzulli of Palm City, Florida; and sisters, Mrs. Eva Kershner of Bridgeport, and Mrs. Julia Forte of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday January 4, 2007 at 10:00 am in the ABRIOLA PARKVIEW FUNERAL HOME 419 WHITE PLAINS RD. TRUMBULL and at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with full military honors will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday January 3, 2007 from 4-8 pm.
