Obituary of Leonard A. Riccio
U.S. Army Veteran
Leonard A. Riccio, age 84, of Bridgeport, died on Friday December 14, 2007 in Hill Top Health Care. Born in Bridgeport on August 1, 1923, he was a son of the late Rocco and Josephine Roberti Riccio. A retired employee of Carpenter Steel, he was U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Riccio enjoyed John Wayne movies but most of all he loved playing pinochle with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Pearl Gallo Riccio. Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Wisniewski and her husband David of Ansonia, Darlene Lance and her husband Timothy of Derby, a sister, Anna Riccio of Bridgeport, three grandchildren, David, Michael and Vera and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Donations Information
