Obituary of Olga A. Albuquerque

Loving and Caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother Olga A. Albuquerque, age 74, of Bridgeport, loving wife of Antonio Pinto Albuquerque, died peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2010 at St. Vincents Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lisbon, Portugal on October 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Matteo and Filomena Antunes. She enjoyed crocheting and working in her garden. Olga was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. In addition to her devoted husband of 41 years, Antonio, survivors include two loving children, Elsa Lage and her husband Fernando and Alvaro Albuquerque, both of Bridgeport, four cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, Alexis and Tiana and two adored great grandchildren, Justin and Isabella. She also leaves to cherish her memory several brothers and sisters-in-law as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother-in-law Cipriano Santos and nephews Alfredo Albuquerque Sr. and Jason Ribeiro. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
