Obituary of Michael J. Rogers

Resident of Trumbull Michael J. Rogers, age 41, of Trumbull, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Diane Autore Rogers. Born in Norwalk on March 30, 1972, he was the son of Kevin Rogers of Milford and Eleanor Moisio of Southbury. He was the step-son of Nancy Rogers, Helen Rogers and Alan W. Moisio. He was the owner and operator of Mike Rogers Garden Care, where he had worked for the last 18 years in addition to being a student at Housatonic Community College. Landscaping and gardening were his passions and he truly loved his work. He was an avid sports fanatic of the New York Yankees, Giants, and Knicks. He was a loving man with a great smile and will be truly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents and beloved wife Diane of two years, other survivors include his sisters and brothers, Carrie Murphy and her husband James of Monson, MA, Adam Rogers and his wife Renee of Milford, Alan O. Moisio of Bethel and Melanie Rogers of Oxford, his cherished Goddaughter, Kayla Murphy, a niece, Jaden Meadow Rogers and nephews, Mason Murphy and Grayson Rogers. He is also survived by his grandmother, several aunts, uncles and cousins that will miss him dearly. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
