Obituary of Adele Scinto

Adele Fonter Scinto, age 86, of Stratford, a home maker, died on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Bridgeport Health Care Center. Born in Lyons, Illinois on June 20, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Kalmer Fonter, and was a Stratford resident for many years.

She was recently predeceased by her husband, Frank P. Scinto.

Survivors include a son, Howard Mergen and his wife, Christine of Milford, a brother, Walter Fonter of Missouri, a sister, Bertha Holub of Illinois, two grandchildren, Eric Mergen and Holly Hoang, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Peach Church, 230 Park Blvd., Stratford on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
