Obituary of Peter D. Scrivani

Peter D. Scrivani, age 74, of Easton, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center with his daughter by his side. Born in Bridgeport on June 3, 1939, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Maria Pietrantoni Scrivani. He was the owner and operator of Allied Elevator for 48 years. Peter was an avid American Indian history buff who also found great enjoyment in antique collecting. He loved his home in Easton where he resided for 36 years but his greatest enjoyment was found in the time he spent with his grandchildren and family. He was pre-deceased by his son, Michael Scrivani, two brothers, Ernie and Peter Scrivani and a sister, Palma Genova. Survivors include three children, Gary Scrivani of Easton and his fiance Ana Balderas of Queens, NY, Julie Annunziato and her husband Emilio of Trumbull and Peter Scrivani of Florida, a sister, Mary Grabowski of Bridgeport, four grandchildren, Melissa and Nicholas Scrivani and Arianna and Steffania Annunziato as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Scrivani of Shelton. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Notre Dame Church of Easton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
