Obituary of Florence Streinz

Former Trumbull Resident Florence Parkins Streinz, age 91, formerly of Trumbull, a retired nurses aide, died on Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Born in Ansonia on July 13, 1915, she was a daughter of the late William and Alma Mullenite Parkins. She was an avid gardener and supporter of wildlife and conservation. She enjoyed teaching these values to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include children, William Streinz of Brooklyn, CT, Gary Streinz of New York, Larry Streinz of Seymour and Susan Kouhia of Watertown, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Florence Biscardi, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Prayer Service will take place on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
