Obituary of Geraldine H. Thennes

Geraldine H. Mooney Thennes, age 82, of Trumbull passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Paul J. Thennes. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, April 12, 1931 she was a daughter of the late Harold and Marion Bolson Mooney. Geraldine, Jeri, was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her passions included reading, watching her UConn Huskies basketball teams, shopping and beloved pets, especially Anabelle. Jeri retired from Sacred Heart University in 1993. In addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, Paul, other survivors include her daughters, Sherry Mastrioani and her husband Rich of Oxford, Laurie Kasiewicz and her husband Jeff of Trumbull and Paula Latham and her husband Brian of Stratford, her cherished grandchildren, Siobhan Tanner and her husband Joshua of Bristol, Michael Condon of Oxford, Lisa Kasiewicz of Pittsburgh, PA, Jamie Kasiewicz of Trumbull and Sean Latham of Stratford, and a great granddaughter, Gwenevere Tanner. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
