Obituary of Felicetta Tiberio

Felicetta Faiella Tiberio, age 92, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Dominic Tiberio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Introdacqua, Province of LAquila, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Arcangelo and Aquilina Faiella. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nonni who enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the happiest when working in her garden, sewing, cooking and baking her delicious Biscotti. Survivors include three loving children, Joseph Tiberio and his wife Joan of Milford, Angelina Meloni of Trumbull, and Domenick Tiberio and his fiance Marybeth Falls of Trumbull, six grandchildren, Dino Meloni and his wife Silvana, Margherita Santilli and her husband Daniel, Stefania Solustri and her husband Christopher, Joseph Tiberio, Jr. and his wife Denise, Jennifer Tiberio and Mary Colella and her husband David, two step-grandchildren, Robert Huggler and his wife Alisha and Glenn Huggler and his wife Patricia; 13 cherished great grandchildren, a brother Francesco Faiella and his wife Lisa of Trumbull, two sisters, Rosina Marzola and her husband Pietro and Teresa Catena both of Canada, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Agostino Meloni and a daughter-in-law, Beverly Tiberio and sisters, Vittoria Scudieri and Concettina Frissora and brother, Giovanni Faiella. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff on the 6th floor south of St. Vincents for their professionalism and care during her time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Raphael Church, 162 Oak St., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
