Obituary of Giovanna Troiano

Formerly of Bridgeport Giovanna (Jennie) Vittorio Troiano, age 84, of Roxbury, formerly of Bridgeport, a retired seamstress, died on Monday, October 11, 2010 in Danbury Hospital. Born in Sante Croce, Sicily on November 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Nunziata Guccione Vittorio. Mrs. Troiano enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and taking care of her family. She was one of Jehovahs Witnesses. She was pre-deceased by her husband Martire Troiano and two sisters, Josephine Vittoria and Lena Timperanza. Survivors include her devoted daughter Giulia Graziani and her husband Louis of Roxbury, two brothers, Joseph Vittorio and his wife Fanny and Paul Vittorio and his wife Lee, all of Trumbull, two grandchildren Gina and Anthony and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
