Obituary of Gloria Giannatasio

Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister Gloria H. Giannatasio, 83, of Trumbull, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Dominick Giannatasio. Born in Bridgeport on September 17, 1930 , she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Florence Sinchok Takacs. Mrs. Giannatasio had worked as a secretary for various local companies. Gloria was a loving wife, mother and sister who devoted her life to caring for her family. She had a strong work ethic and truly loved to work. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to Dominick, her beloved husband of 58 years, she is survived by her son, David Giannatasio, and his wife Chelsea Lowe of Brookline, MA, a brother, John Takacs of Stratford and a sister, Flora Takacs of Trumbull. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew. Gloria was predeceased by her sister, Bertha Chymerc. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
