Obituary of Marilyn Jean VanHoose

Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother Marilyn Jean Zawadski VanHoose, age 70, beloved wife of Joseph R. VanHoose, Sr. of Shelton, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on February 23, 1943 she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Palumbo Zawadski. Before her retirement, Marilyn was a secretary with the City of Bridgeport Board of Education with many years of dedicated service. In addition to her husband Joseph, survivors include two loving sons, Joseph VanHoose Jr, Jeffrey VanHoose and his wife Kimberly, a daughter-in-law Mary VanHoose all of Shelton and four cherished grandchildren, Eric, Evan, Ella and Logan.
