Obituary of Fiore Venditti

Fiore Venditti, age 90, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Pietrina DiPalma Venditti, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy on May 18, 1923, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria Nicola Gesuale Venditti. Fiore was a retired tile setter, having worked at the former Benny Tile Co. of Bridgeport. Mr. Venditti enjoyed wine making and working in his garden. He was a very hard working, generous, giving person who loved spending time with his family. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Venditti and his wife Agnese of Shelton and Pasquale Venditti and his wife Amalia of Milford, five grandchildren, Roberto Venditti and his wife Aimee, Rosanna Mallozzi and her husband Mario, Pierre Venditti and his wife Marlene, Jean-Nicole Venditti and his wife Allison, Giacoma Kenworthy and her husband Matthew, 10 great grandchildren, Lucas, Mariano, Giuliana, Daniela, Paolo, Cristiano, Lucca, Amilio, Gian Francesco and Fiorella, a brother-in-law, Rocco DiPalma and his wife Angela of Shelton, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Andrea Venditti and two sisters, Clorinda Venditti and Iolanda Faustini. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in Ripi, Italy. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
