Obituary of Raffaella Vetrosky

Raffaella Ronnie DelPercio Vetrosky, age 84, of Trumbull, formerly of Fairfield, a homemaker, died peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Bridgeport on November 26, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Donato and Maria Trioni DelPercio. A loving mother and grandmother, Ronnie had a true love of life. She was dedicated to the love and care of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Cronin and her husband Dr. Harold Cronin of Trumbull, a son, Allen A. Vetrosky and his wife Margaret Hughes of Fairfield, six grandchildren, Dr. Taralyn Cronin-Weir and her husband Dr. Ian Weir, Scott Cronin and his wife Katrina, Allen W. Vetrosky and his wife Rebecca Krueger, Emily, Sophia and Maya Vetrosky, a great granddaughter, Ciara Lynn Weir, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her former husband Alex Vetrosky, three brothers, Matthew, Fred and Daniel DelPercio and four sisters, Irene and Rachel DelPercio, Madeline Bonito and Grace Ward. The family wishes to thank the Bridgeport Hospital staff of the 9th floor MICU for their outstanding compassionate care. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 10:45 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:45 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church in the Lordship section of Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
