Obituary of Antonio M. Vieira

Loving Son, Brother and Uncle Antonio Manuel Freak Vieira age 41, of Bridgeport, loving son of Sofia Maria DaSilva Rocha of Bridgeport and the late Armando Rocha, died peacefully on Saturday December 18, 2010. Born in Porto, Portugal on May 18, 1969, he was formerly employed by Burns and Complete Construction, but had also enjoyed time working with his brother Manny and nephew Danny at MV Landscaping. Affectionately known to many as Freak, he was a loving and caring person who enjoyed a good laugh and spending time with his family and friends. Freak loved his time out riding his Harley and his weekly poker games with his brothers and friends. Truly a giving person, recently he volunteered his time at the Rescue Mission in Bridgeport where he could be found serving meals and assisting the homeless. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed. In addition to his devoted mother Sofia Maria, survivors include three loving siblings, two brothers, Manuel Vieira and his wife Claire of Bridgeport and Victor Vieira and his wife Cristina of Milford, a sister, Sandy Rocha of Bridgeport, cherished nephews and niece, Daniel, Ryan and Katie Vieira as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. He will also be missed by his faithful canine companion Neena. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
