Obituary of Thomas C. Waller

Thomas C. Waller, Jr., age 74, of Oxford passed away on Friday April 13, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport, on July 17, 1937, he was a son of Anna Korscmaros Waller of Oxford and the late Thomas C. Waller, Sr. He had been employed by Vishay Vitramon of Monroe as a maintenance mechanic for over 20 years before his retirement. Mr. Waller loved to work with his hands and could fix anything. He loved to spend his time outside and in the sun. In addition to his mother, other survivors include his five children, Thomas L. Waller and his wife Roni of Danbury, Leslie A. Waller and Trisha M. Waller, both of Naugatuck, Darrick C. Waller and his wife Lasonja of Florida and Deborah Roth also of Florida, ten grandchildren, Brandi Waller, Darrick Waller Jr., Sanija and Samorja Waller, Vasile Jr. and Kaius Cioana, Ariel and Mia Martinez, Jennifer Roth and Shannon McSwain, his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Waller and his wife Susan of Milford, Fay Ann Zak of Trumbull, Theresa Carey of Bridgeport, Barbara McHugh and her husband Robert of Newtown, Carolyn Muthersbaugh and her husband Michael of Fairfield and Phillip Waller and his wife Caroline of Oxford, a very devoted goddaughter, Michelle and a special niece Lynn. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A memorial gathering will take place on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
