Obituary of Mildred Watcke

Mildred Millie Watcke, age 83, of Trumbull, passed away quietly in her sleep to be with our Lord, on Monday, August 6, 2012, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Albert Watcke for 63 great years! Born in Bridgeport on July 2, 1929, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Sekelsky Simna. Millie was employed by Unifirst of Stratford, where she worked as an office manager for 15 years before her retirement. Besides her beloved husband Albert, other survivors include her sons, William Watcke of Huntington and Alan Watcke and his wife Debbie of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Jennifer Conover and her husband Wayne of Saratoga Springs, NY, Dawn Emerman and her husband Dave of Guilford, Alexis Watcke of Trumbull and Stephanie Watcke of Huntington; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Annabelle and Chloe; two sisters, Linda Schauwecker and her husband Ron of Huntington and Jean Slezak of Stratford and a sister-in-law, Sally Simna of Trumbull. She is survived by a very special niece and goddaughter, Debbie Bowen, and also several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by a grandson, Brian Watcke, a brother, Robert Simna, a sister, Ruth Barber and brother-in-law, Teddy Slezak. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:30 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
