Obituary of Jeanne B. Wells

Trumbull Resident Jeanne B. Wells of Trumbull, CT, aged 83, passed away peacefully with her four daughters at her side on July 25, 2009. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Henry W. Brown and Hazel Lockard Brown, and her brother Henry Brown. Born in Punxsutawney, PA, she attended the University of Pennsylvania and lived for several years in Cairo, Egypt after her marriage. She had a long career at the former State National Bank, enjoyed attending the theatre, meeting with her book group, and traveling with her daughters. She was also an avid Giants fan and appreciated fine dining. She will be remembered for her quick wit, love of a good joke, and the pleasure she took in being surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her daughters Lynne Laukhuf and her husband Larry, of Fairfield, CT; Kathy Callahan and her husband Ric, of Westwood, MA; Debbie Autuori of Charlotte, NC; and Tracey Cirillo and her husband Joseph of Bedford, NY; her grandchildren Shannon and Adam Laukhuf; Max and Casey Callahan; and Jay, Brooke, and Joey Cirillo; as well as a niece and several nephews. The family wishes to thank the kind staff members of St. Vincent's Hospital and the Jewish Home for the Elderly for their attentive care. Funeral Information Visiting hours are Tuesday, July 28th from 3-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull. A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 29th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 661 Old Post Rd, Fairfield, CT. Burial will be private.
