Obituary of Josephine Zeiner

Resident of Bridgeport Josephine Sembrat Zeiner, age 86, of Bridgeport, a retired employee for Carnival Toys, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 in Milford Health Care Center. Born in Archibald, PA on May 2, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Carmel and Helen Carite. A resident of Bridgeport for the last 45 years, Mrs. Zeiner was raised in Pennsylvania. She was pre-deceased by her husband, George Sembrat, a son, George Sembrat, Jr. and four brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Santos and her fiance, Louis Pulitano of Bridgeport, three brothers, Ed, Duke and Joe Carite, all of Pennsylvania, three grandchildren, George Sembrat, Russell Sembrat and Scott Santos, a great grandson, Brandon Santos and his mother, Wanda Oliveras and devoted friends, Helen LaPorte and Jeanne Macisco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 1719 Post Rd., Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Fairfield. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
