Obituary of Michael Camerino

Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather Michael Camerino, age 81, of Stratford, beloved husband of Frances Bonacci Camerino, died peacefully on Saturday August 22, 2009 at his home with his family by his side. Born in New York City he was a son of the late John and Elizabeth Riccardi Camerino. A retired manager for the Autac Wire & Cable Co., he was also formerly employed by the Anaconda Wire and Cable Company of Hastings, NY for 27 years. Mr. Camerino was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He loved to spend time in his garden tending to his vegetables, but his true love was spending time with his cherished grandchildren. In addition to his devoted wife of 60 years, Frances, survivors include his three loving children, Michael Camerino, Jr. Mahopac NY, Elizabeth Camerino-Schultz, and her husband Geoffrey Schultz of Shelton and Frank Camerino and his wife Melissa of Shelton, a sister-in-law, Angela Cimino and her husband Ralph of NY, eight cherished grandchildren, Michael III, Matthew, Lauren, Cristina, Geoffrey, Frank, Jake, and Mia, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Lawn Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on Monday from 4:30-8:30 p.m.
