Obituary of Antonetta Cardarelli

Antonetta (Antonia) Quintiliani Cardarelli, age 93, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Luigi Cardarelli, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 19, 1920 in San Donato, Province of Frosinone, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Rosolina Brunetti Quintiliani. Mrs. Cardarelli was a retired seamstress, having worked for the former Rose Dress Shop in Bridgeport for many years before her retirement. She would enjoy making clothes for her daughters and her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother who took great pride and joy in spending time with her family and she loved the big Sunday dinners when everyone was all together. She will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rita Leyden, a grandson, Michael Dominguez, sons-in-law, Joseph Leyden, Charles Perelli and Robert Dominguez, a brother, Donato Quintiliani and a sister, Gerarda Leone. Survivors include two loving daughters, Carmela Perelli of Bridgeport and Anna Dominguez of Shelton, eight cherished grandchildren, Daniela Balk and her husband Alex, Adrianna Odice, Luigi Perelli and his wife Evanna, Luciana Perelli, Robert Dominguez, Christina Mikos and her husband Gregory, Louis Leyden and Patrick Leyden and his wife Jennifer; 11 adored great grandchildren, Cariann, Samantha, Raelyn, Robert, Michael, Nicole, Brennan, Ryan, Emersyn, Paige and Robert Joseph (RJ). She also leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Raffaela Rufo of Boston, MA, a sister-in-law, Gerarda Quintiliani of New Milford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Pilgrimage Mausoleum of Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
