Obituary of Gennaro Giugliano

Resident of Stratford Gennaro Giugliano, age 78, of Stratford, a retired employee for Handy and Harman, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Trecase, Province of Naples, Italy on February 14, 1929, he was a son of the late Constantino and Maria Grazie Riola Giugliano and a Stratford resident for 41 years. He was a member of the Circolo Sportivo Italian American Club and also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Vincenza Romeo Giugliano, a son, Tony Giugliano and his wife Gabrielle of Stamford, a daughter, Fran Broussard and her husband Nick of Stratford, two grandchildren, Joseph Nicholas and Connie Broussard, three sisters, Maria, Rosetta and Rita and a brother Raffaele, all of Italy as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Pasquale and a sister Olga. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 8 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
