Obituary of Antonia Santiago Cruz

Antonia Santiago Cruz, age 67, of Derby, and formerly a 30 year resident of Norwalk, died peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Morovis, Puerto Rico on May 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Agapito and Adela Vazquez Santiago. A retired employee of Perkin Elmer, she was a former President of the Daughters of Mary Society in Puerto Rico. Mrs. Cruz was dedicated to the love and care of her family and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 40 years, Norberto L. Cruz, four loving children, Luis Ivan Cruz of Norwalk, Eric Cruz of Fairfield, Miladys Cruz of Stratford, Ervin Ariel Cruz of Stamford, five brothers and four sisters as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Jude Church 707 Monroe Tpke, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
