Obituary of Peter C. Grabowski

Trumbull Resident Peter C. Grabowski, Sr., age 78, of Trumbull, a retired employee for General Electric Co. with 30 years of service and former employee of Jenkins Valve Co., died on Friday, December 16, 2005 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 6, 1927, he was a son of the late Stanley and Antoinette Bartzui Grabowski. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Grabowski was a Trumbull resident for 41 years. He was a member of Union Local I. U. E. #203 for over 25 years, the American Legion Sylvan Crest Post, the Knights of Columbus and the Polish Falcons of America. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joan Landock Grabowski, a son, Peter C. Grabowski, Jr. and his wife, Ellen of Bradenton, FL, two daughters, Barbara-Ann Zuzick and her husband, Joseph of Shelton and Susan Grabowski of Trumbull, three brothers, Simon Grabowski of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Chester Grabowski of Winchester, Indiana and John Grabowski of Trumbull, two sisters, Stella and Mary Grabowski, both of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Anna Anderson and her husband, Kevin, Catherine Zuzick, Joan Zuzick, Peter C. Grabowski, III and Meghan Grabowski and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Stanley Grabowski and a sister, Genevieve Grabowski. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
