Obituary of Michael C. Daniel

U. S. Navy Veteran Michael C. Daniel, age 34, of Stratford, died suddenly on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Born in Bridgeport on August 10, 1977, he was a 1997 graduate of Bunnell High School. A U. S. Navy veteran, he was a member of the U. S. Atlantic Fleet Band and was proud to have played for Presidents, George H. W. Bush and William J. Clinton. An avid musician, he played the saxophone in the New York area. A loving son, brother and uncle, he will be sadly missed. Survivors include his beloved mother, Rosemary Leonetti Daniel, his siblings, Karen Sando Kowats and her husband Don of Newtown, Lisa Bonazzo and her husband Robert of Trumbull and Stephen Daniel and his wife Patricia of Stratford, his maternal grandmother, Connie Leonetti of Trumbull as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather, Salvatore Leonetti. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Our Lady of Peace Church, 230 Park Blvd, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
