Obituary of Lenore Daninhirsch

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Lenore Serritella Daninhirsch (Frazier) of Milford, Connecticut, entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 11, 1946 in Bridgeport to the late Eleanor Varnelli Serritella and Leonard Serritella. She graduated from Lauralton Hall in 1964 and received her bachelors degree from Caldwell College and her masters degree from Sacred Heart University. Lenore was a generous and loving classroom teacher for thirty years in the Diocese of Bridgeport, teaching at St. Theresa in Trumbull and at St. Lawrence in Shelton for many years. Her students brought her great joy and they were continually in her thoughts. Lenore loved to read and her beautiful rose garden was much-loved by all who passed by. She enjoyed spending time with her adored Samoyed dogs. Her favorite pastime was enjoying the sun at Bayview Beach, down the road from her home in Milford. In addition to her caring husband Stuart, Lenore is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Melissa Frazier, and her two beloved grandchildren, Nathaniel and Jude, all of Ventura, California. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Mary Lou Serritella Sewell of Milford; her nephew, David Sewell and his wife Alexa of Larchmont, NY; and her niece, Kerry Sewell Wetmore and her husband Chris of Orange, CT. She leaves behind her cherished grandnieces and nephews, Anna, John, Grace, John, and Molly, and many treasured friends and family near and far.
