Obituary of Sadye M. DelVecchio

Resident of Trumbull Sadye Caldana DelVecchio, age 94, of Trumbull, a retired employee of Bridgeport Brass, died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on March 14, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Lucille Fasciano Caldana. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to the care of her family. She will be deeply missed. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph N. DelVecchio, son Douglas J. DelVecchio, a brother Patrick L. Caldana and a sister, Theresa Caldana. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Carol DelVecchio, two grandchildren, Douglas A. DelVecchio and his fiance Jacqueline Urciuoli and Megan DelVecchio Gagnon and her husband Jayson, two great grandchildren, Drew Douglas and Luke Michael, a sister, Lucille Baratz of Monroe and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St. Trumbull on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
