Obituary of Nancy DiNardo

Nancy C. Tomek DiNardo, age 64, of Easton, died peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2007 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Derby on August 27, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Shirley Nangle Tomek. Nancy was a beloved homemaker working in the family businesses throughout her life. She will be remembered for her stunning beauty, love, kindness, and laughter. She loved animals, flowers, nature, fishing, her red corvette and her condo on the beach in Florida, Nanas happiest moments were spending time with her family. She was our mother, love and best friend. To know her was to love her.

In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by a sister, Robin Tomek.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 40 years, Pasquale DiNardo, four loving children, daughters, Janice Corsano and her husband Nick Tsichlas of Monroe, Holly Konstantino and her husband Ed of Easton, Julie Coriano and her husband Pete of Ansonia, a son, Pasquale (Pat) DiNardo Jr. of Ansonia, three sisters, Marilyn Bialek of Cheshire, Elli Carnicky and her husband Charlie of Stratford, Darlene Bento and her husband Bill of FL., a brother Andy Tomek and his wife Diane of TN, son-in-law Michael Corsano of Monroe, six cherished grandchildren, Holly, Nicky, Petey, Nicole, Cassie, and lil Pat, a goddaughter, Robin Carnicky of Stratford, brother-in-law Salvatore J. DiNardo and his wife Christine of Easton, dear friend Luiza Konstantino of Fairfield and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St. Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
