Obituary of Herman P. Durante

U.S. Army Veteran Herman P. Durante, age 95, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Antoinette Patrone Durante, died peacefully on Saturday March 5, 2011 in St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 15, 1915, he was a son of the late Ralph and Louise DAmico Durante. A U.S. Army veteran of WWII, Herman was a recipient of the Bronze Star and was also a retired employee of Bridgeport Machines. He was a member of the Trumbull Senior Center and the Tashua Golf Seniors. In addition to his wife Antoinette, he was predeceased by a sister Rose Marie Durante and a brother Nicholas Durante. Survivors include his loving sister Margaret DiDomenico of Trumbull, nephews and nieces, Charles and Barbara DiDomenico, Larry and Judy Durante, Ralph and Doris Durante, great nieces Lisa Cameron and her husband James and Leslie DiDomenico and a great great niece, Isabella Cameron. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday March 8, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
