Obituary of Norbert P. Esteves

Norbert P. Esteves, age 92 of Bridgeport, passed away on February 19, 2014. Norbert was born on March 2, 1921 in New Bedford, MA son of the late Domingos and Maria Pires Esteves of Ardaos, Portugal. Norbert honorably served in the United States Army, 142nd infantry division and received the Purple Heart as well as many other honorable citations during his service in World War II. He was a loving and devoted husband to the late Mary Esteves. Norbert leaves behind two sons, Robert and Joseph Esteves, his grandchildren John, Nicole, Ryan and Michael, his great granddaughter Lauren as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and remain in our hearts forever. Funeral Information Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport.
