Obituary of William J. Fardy

Resident of Shelton William J. Fardy, age 63, of Shelton, a retired employee for the City of Bridgeport Parks Department with over 30 years of service, died on Sunday, May 17, 2009 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 18, 1945, he was a son of the late Francis J. and Edna Scheele Fardy and a U. S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed motorcycle riding. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Charlene L. Mikolajczyk Fardy, a daughter Stacy Mackie and her husband Joe of Wolcott, three brothers Andrew Fardy of Bridgeport, Thomas Fardy and Charles Fardy, both of Stratford. Funeral Information There will be no calling hours and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
