Obituary of Louis Szabo

Louis Szabo, age 80, of Trumbull, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Vincent. Born in Nagyacsad, Hungary on August 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Kalman and Maria Doczi Szabo. He was a self-employed carpenter and was employed by the former Architectural Regency Corp. He enjoyed working in his garden and was a master at tinkering and fabricating whatever was needed. Survivors include two sons, Andy Szabo and his wife Deb and Louie Szabo and Debbie Tilford, all of Trumbull, two grandchildren, Ally and Livvy, his former wife, Karolina Tima Szabo as well as several nieces and nephews in Hungary. He was pre-deceased by three brothers, Kalman, Sandor and Imre and two sisters, Ilona and Maria. All funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lou’s memory to St. Vincent’s Medical Center Foundation, 2800 Main St., Bridgeport, CT 06606. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
