Obituary of Lillian R. Kohlbacker

Lillian Hubina Kohlbacker, age 83, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of William E. Kohlbacker, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 12, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Matey Hubina. A graduate of Harding High School, Mrs. Kohlbacker was a lifetime member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was also a member of the Dorcas Mission Guild. In addition to William, her husband of 60 years, survivors include four children, William K. Kohlbacker and his wife Robin of Chandler, AZ, Alan R. Kohlbacker of Monroe, Jeffrey M. Kohlbacker and his wife Donna of Alpharetta, GA and Kim A. Nikola and her husband Paul of Naugatuck, a brother, Edward Hubina of Trumbull, a sister, Dorothy Wallis of Colorado, two grandchildren, Kristine A. Davis and Jennifer M. Kellum and her husband Joseph, two great grandchildren, Austin Davis and Jenna Kellum as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Stephen and William Hubina and two sisters, Anne Lukachik and Mildred Keliar. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. meeting directly in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Inurnment will be held privately in the Columbarium at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611.
