Obituary of Jeanne M. Dunn

Jeanne Montefuscoli Dunn, beloved wife of Donovan Dunn passed on Friday, August 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 57. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Genaro and Louisa Montefuscoli and graduated from Wright Tech in Stamford. Jeanne and Donovan were married for 39 years and the marvelous love they had was reflected in their life. Everything about Jeanne was family. Holidays and vacations were a family affair. Family was her life and all the joy she brought into all our lives cannot be expressed in words, but her legacy will be passed on through us all, and generations to come. Jeanne formerly of Stamford and a longtime resident of Fairfield was the former owner of Dunn’s Auto and has been employed by Mercedes Benz of Fairfield, who greatly supported her throughout her struggle. Jeanne was a great lover of Disney and her home was a reflection of it. You would go into her home and just smile. She was someone who was always there for you and her love and laughter will be missed tremendously. A day will not pass that she will not be missed! She will be greatly missed by her children, Christine Cotas and her husband Michael, Corilynn Meeker and her husband Brian, Donovan Dunn Jr. and his wife Kim, Michael Dunn and his wife Nicolle and Kelli Jean Dunn, grandchildren, Alexa Cotas, Gabriella Cotas, Gianna Dunn, Ariel Dunn and Mya Meeker, sisters, Jo-Ann Lowman and her husband Clifford, Louisa Dunn and her husband David Sr. and brother, Gennaro Montefuscoli Sr. and his wife Robin as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Funeral services will take place on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
